As the name suggests, The Asiatic primulas are those from Asia, and often with bell-shaped flowers. They include Primulas Sikkimensis, Alpicola and Florindaea, known also as The Giant Cowslip of India. Very often, these primulas are heavily and sweetly scented, espacially the Alpicola varieties. back in 1967, I planted thousands of these, together with other woodland plants, trees and shubs in the woodland garden near Stanley Park in Blackpool, Lancs.
